This may be a bit off the wall

Maybe we could improve pvp... like possibly have random items drop at random times when you kill someone? like some items thatd be rare but you could only get from pvping.
then have some not so rare items maybe some compose stacks that are only like 100 in each stack.
of course all of this would have to happen in the arena to prevent cheaters..
but i dont know.

there's so many variables associated with this...

eventually, pvp will revolve around the strong hunting the weak, weak players will quit. we need a system where drops depend on the bp differencial, if you kill someone with 1k+ lower bp, your drop is worse, if you kill someone higher, your drop is better, etc.

Then we have the problem of spawn killing. With that comes people who jump in at the end of the battle, who gets the drop? After, what if someone comes up and pks the person who just won, does the third person get both drops?

There are a LOT of variables with this...

It is a good idea Todd.... it's just, with one coder, the chances of actually getting this implemented any time soon is slim.

I like that idea, they did that on some runescape private servers, is it possible though?

I know that a friend told me RuneScape had PVP exclusive drops, but they also had some sort of level restriction system going on. I don't really know though :s

It is also a web-based Java game though, so idk what their limitations are compared to ours, I don't even know what this game is lmao. All I know is they have thousands of employees who can code... we have 1

lol yea. if we had thousands we wouldnt need a drop system

maybe make the Arena bigger and have an item that drops that can be exchanged for prizes

i think the drops should only happen in the controlled environment of the arena tho
